Delete or Revise ChartField Strings

• The fiscal years are an example only. The steps/process throughout the document remains the same, even if the fiscal years are different.

ChartField strings can now be deleted and/or revised in My Planning Workspace.

1. Go to the appropriate Activity/Scenario.

2. View the Line Item Details.

• The Line Item Details page displays.

3. Click the green check mark next to the ChartField string to be revised or deleted.

• The Modify Dimensions page displays.

4. To make a revision to a ChartField, click the Look Up icon (magnifying glass at the end of the field).

• The Look Up window will display with all applicable values.

5. In the To Value column, enter or select the new value for the ChartField.

6. Note the new ChartField value.

7. To delete a ChartField, click the Delete button.

• A Message displays.

8. Choose OK or Cancel.

• If you want to continue with the delete function, click OK.

• If the item should not be deleted, click Cancel.

9. This will return to the Line Item Details screen.

10. From here, new ChartField strings can be added.
